It has been started to allow citizens of Indian Trail and Union County the ability to voice their opinions on topics within our community. Hopefully, it will also prove to be informational in the process.
The Indian Trail transportation committee will be meeting on Thursday April 19th at I believe 7pm at SPCC. The guest speaker will be Barry Moose from DOT. Hopefully he will explain how and why roads are assigned the way the are...How the money is designated. How to go about possibly speeding up the process. Should be interesting.

Hi, My name is Lee and I have been a resident of Indian Trail, NC for about 8 years now. It is a very nice place to live but its not perfect. Some may call me an activist or a watchdog, I prefer the term concerned citizen and opinionated. I was a member of the Union County Planning Board and am a current member of the Indian Trail Planning Board. I am very much concerned with the political nature of Indian Trail and Union County. That is why I am starting this blog, so others can express their opinions on different topics that arise in our community. Please be advised that I will not tolerate bad language, threats, or in general rude comments. I believe it is possible to express yourself without sinking to or below the gutter. If it does happen, the comments will be removed. With that said, I want to hear from you.
