MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!!!! This has been a very interesting year especially in Indian Trail and Union County politics. From one extreme to the other change has occured via the vote of the citizens. Good, bad, or indifferent the outcomes from the previous year will be felt into the years to come. Hopefully, the changes that have taken place and will come in the future will be to help the citizens of Union County and Indian Trail.
No matter what side of the fence you are on it has been an interesting year. The hope is that Indian Trail and Union County will continue to move forward and become even better than today.
Politics done for the right reasons will serve all residents now and in the future. Only those policies that are done for the selected few seemingly have adverse affects on every aspect of our lives. Hopefully, the elected officials will do what is right for the right reasons and remember all the citizens they serve.

The Saturday before Christmas my children 4 and 2 were helping my wife open the blinds. It was fairly early when I heard the screaming about reindeer. I ran to the windows to see 7 deer in our yard. They were very close to the house and in both the front and backyards eating plants that I had planted with care. My children were very excited especially, since they were looking for the sleigh and Santa. The deer stayed around for about 45 minutes even with the yelling and screaming of the children...occasionally peeking up from eating. Ahh the age of innocence.
